Mohammadi qualifies Iran for the Olympic in 60kg weight class

At the second day of freestyle Olympic qualifying tournament in Martigny, Switzerland, Morad Mohammadi stood third place at 60kg weight class and qualified Iran for Olympic. 2006 world champion, defeated Tlegenov from Uzbekistan and Mike zadick from USA but lost to 2004 Olympic champion, Yandro Quintana from Cuba. In Repechage, Mohammadi had three straight wins over Noriyuki Takatsuka from Japan and Ganzorig from Mongolia.

In this weight class, Quintana was champion and defeated Zalimkhan Huseynov from Azerbaijan. 1-0, 3-0.

Two other Azerbaijani wrestlers qualified for Olympic. Norouz Temrezov defeated Chagnadorj Ganzorig from Mongolia in 84 kg final round 4-0, 3-0 and Khetag Gazyumov won against Nicolai Ceban from Moldova 2-1, 5-0 in 96kg final.

Four top wrestlers in each weight qualify for 2008 Olympic Games.
